The advanced search syntax can be used to find all documents that have been assigned to a particular volume. The syntax for this type of search is shown below.
The term VolName specifies the volume that must be associated with a document, in order to qualify as a valid search result. The name of the volume that will be searched for is indicated by the term VolumeName.
Examples of volume-specific searches are shown below.

{LF:VolName="Default"} & John Doe
The first example will find all documents that have been assigned to the Default volume. The second example will filter those results to only find documents that have been assigned to the Default volume and contain the phrase "John Doe".
