Searching by Creation/Modification Date

A search can be performed to find all documents and folders that have been created and/or modified on a certain date. When searching by creation or modification date, you have the choice to specify a particular date or a date range. Both creation and modification date have a starting date and an ending date. The starting date appears right after the word "From", while the ending date appears right after the word "To." A description on how you can search for creation or modification date is given below.

• All documents or folders that were created or modified after a particular date. This type of search can be performed by specifying a starting date and leaving the ending date blank.

• All documents or folders that were created or modified before a particular date. This type of search can be performed by specifying an ending date and leaving the starting date blank.

• All documents or folders that were created or modified between two dates. This type of search can be performed by specifying a starting and ending date.

• All documents or folders that were created or modified on a particular date. This type of search can be performed by specifying the desired date as the starting and ending date.

To search by creation or modification date

1. From the main browser toolbar, click Search.

2. If you would like to search by creation date, then you should click Customize Search and select Creation Date from the list.

3. If you would like to search by modification date, then you should click Customize Search and select Modification Date from the list.

4. In the from and to options, specify the date or the date range that will be searched for. If you would like to select a date by using a calendar, then you should click (View Calendar). A calendar window will appear. Browse to the appropriate month and then click on the desired date.

5. Click Search, which appears at the bottom of the search pane.
