An electronic document is a Laserfiche file that has not been converted to TIFF or text format in the Laserfiche repository. The electronic document view is similar to the Document View with one extra button in the Document Viewer toolbar. The Download Electronic Document toolbar option allows you to download a copy of the electronic document to your workstation. If your workstation then has the appropriate native application, you can open and view the electronic document.
To view an electronic document
Log in to the Laserfiche repository through WebLink.
Browse through the repository, until you find the desired electronic document.
Click on the electronic document's name.
The Electronic Document view will appear. Click
the 
(Download Electronic Document) button to download
the electronic document.
You will be prompted as to whether you would like to open or save the file. If you choose to save the file, you will be prompted to specify a location.
Note: Open the desired file by browsing to the selected directory and double clicking it. In order to view an electronic document, the user must have an application that supports the selected file type.
