The Contents pane (right) displays either the contents of the currently opened folder or the results for the last performed search. The types of items that can be displayed in this pane are documents, electronic documents, folders, and shortcuts to these types of items. A page icon marks items that are documents. Electronic documents are identified by an administrator assigned icon specific to a particular file type extension. For more information on assigning icons to a type of electronic document, refer to the Electronic Document Icons section. If you would like to view a document, click on the page icon or the document name.
